VSAM Manager™ analyzes logical record to CI relationships - checking for potential efficiency problems, requested and achieved distributed FREESPACE within CIs and CAs, and DASD space utilization of the data set. It also provides information that identifies where record insertion activity is occurring within the file - showing where CA splits have been done - and how many are at each location.
